2024

Le Mobile returns with tours by ROSEQ and Réseau Petits bonheurs. The show Amarelinha meets minority francophones in Newfoundland and Labrador, while Victor tours the island via the Conseil des arts de Montréal.

2023

Victor, the sequel to Amarelinha, is researched in schools and premiered at the Maison de la culture Rosemont-la-Petite-Patrie. First tours of the Magdalen Islands and the Gatineau region with Hiatus.

2022

La marche du crabe celebrates its 10th anniversary and brings together all its collaborators, colleagues and friends for a festive family event in a park in Rosemont, where its head office is located. Hiatus is presented at the Montreal Complètement Cirque festival and tours the Petits bonheurs network and several new partners. Amarelinha travels east with summer ROSEQ.

2021

Creation of the circus and music show Hiatus for young children, co-produced with the Ville de Laval and touring the Réseau Petits bonheurs. Drafting of anti-harassment and sustainable development policies, integrated into the General By-laws.

2020

Le Mobile showcased at IPAY in Philadelphia and the Teatralia Festival in Madrid, as well as its pandemic musical version in Sudbury daycare centers. Creation and touring of Tourne-Disque, a participatory musical and circus performance for seniors in their living environments.

2019

La marche du crabe is the main theme of the 15th edition of the Petits bonheurs Montréal festival, presenting its entire repertoire, including the new in situ creation Amarelinha. The company’s first international tour takes in Europe and a regional tour in Gaspésie with Le Mobile. Sandy Bessette presents the show at Stockholm’s Subtopia Circus Fair.

2018

Le Mobile is presented at the Montréal Complètement Cirque festival. De doigts et de pied is presented in Place des Arts’ 5e Salle, bringing the company to Abitibi-Témiscamingue for the first time.

2017

Simon Fournier begins researching and writing his first piece of alley theater, Amarelinha, with 10 seniors from the HLMs in the Saint-Michel district, as part of the City of Montreal’s Partenariat Culture et Communauté. Le Mobile is supported by La TOHU’s Tremplin program, En Piste and the Conseil des arts de Montréal.

2016

First test run of Le Mobile at La TOHU. First appearance at the Petits bonheurs Laval festival with De doigts et de pied and second Conseil des arts de Montréal tour for the company. Return of Remous remis to La TOHU for spring break.

2015

La marche du crabe wins first prize in the Conseil des arts de Montréal’s Bourse des Jeunes mécènes pour les arts for its circus creation for infants, Le Mobile. De doigts et de pied travels the Réseau Petits bonheurs.

2014

Sandy Bessette’s first choral production, De doigts et de pied, a kinesthetic dance experience for toddlers aged 18 months and over, stands out in the panorama of early childhood performance and ensures recognition of the company’s work.

2013

Les Explositions, dance performances inspired by visual artworks, are presented in museums and galleries, and are the subject of mediation workshops aimed at young people, seniors and adults learning French.

2012

La marche du crabe is born on September 9, anchoring the first collaboration with the organization Une école montréalaise pour tous in Montreal. Remous remis performs at Ma première Place des Arts, La TOHU and Réseau Accès culture. Sandy Bessette takes part in the Petits et grands festival in France.

2011

Sandy Bessette and Xavier Malo co-direct DynamO Théâtre’s creation workshop and travel to Belgium to create Remous remis, in collaboration with Pan! La compagnie. The show is presented as a test run at the Festival petits bonheurs Montréal. Un orteil dans le vide tours Mexico’s Cervantino and Sinaloa festivals.

2010

Un orteil dans le vide tours Longueuil, Beloeil and Montreal with Conseil des arts de Montréal and at the Jazz Festival.

2009

Un orteil dans le vide was presented at Vue sur la relève and won the TOHU award, earning a screening in the main hall and praise from Jean Siag of La Presse.

2008

The German wheel and dance show Un orteil dans le vide is presented as a test run at the Petits bonheurs Montréal festival, then represents Quebec at the Site en scène festival in Brouage, France.

2007

Sandy Bessette participates in creation workshops for young children at Petits bonheurs (Québec), Méli-mômes (France), Pépites (Belgium). Residency at the Centre national de la danse in Paris for research on Un orteil dans le vide.

2006

Sandy Bessette takes part in a creation project in a prison environment in Joliette with European choreographer Claire Jenny. She then accompanied her to France for an immersive internship with her company Point Virgule, which also works with young audiences.
